Friends of Barkerend
Our Pastoral Team are hardworking individuals who dedicate their time and effort to make Barkerend Academy a happy place for all our pupils and parents. They run a variety of clubs and activities both before and after school and during the day. We work throughout school providing help and assistance in any way required.
They have a fantastic rapport with parents and run a variety of clubs and activities for them too. They enjoy welcoming all parents into school and warmly encourage them to become actively involved in their child’s learning.
You will see them out in the playground before and after school please do come and introduce yourself and feel free to have a chat. We are here to help!
