E-Safety

At Barkerend Academy, we believe E-Safety to be a vital part of the ICT and wider curriculum. Children develop the skills and knowledge they need in dedicated E-Safety lessons, delivered throughout the school curriculum.

Within these E-Safety lessons, children use “The Adventures of Kara, Winston and the SMART Crew” to illustrate and gain an awareness of the 5 key E-Safety rules.

Children should be aware of the 5 SMART rules, what they mean, and where they can go to when they need help or advice.
